Trends and recommendations

Averagely, the operators analysed make 72% of their total online revenue via mobile channels. Best performance was shown by Bettson (75%) and LeoVegas (73%). The mobile share seems to have reached a maximum around 75% to 80%.

Rush Street Interactive received the analysts' top recommendation for companies engaged in pure online gambling. Also it shows the best development in the past 3 months.

The worst recommendations were received by Flutter. Over the past 3 months Gamesys company showed the “worst” development level.

If we compare the “online only” with 2.06 an average recommendation and the “gambling retail and online” with 1.81, we see that the operators active in both the retail and the online segment currently perform better.

Share developments 

Neogames took the biggest leap (+87% over the last 3 months) in the sample of online gambling focused companies. The worst 3-months performance was shown by LeoVegas (-24%). Share prices analysed decreased by -0.1% averagely.

Financial KPIs and best practice analysis - year-on-year

At a mean, revenues in Asian mobile gambling changed in Q1 / 2021 by +73%. Great growth performance was achieved by Rush Street Interactive with +219%. Rush Street Interactive operates the US gambling sites PlaySugarHouse and BetRivers. 

Bet-at-home and LeoVegas have the lowest growth.

In the ballpark, revenues in this sector changed in Q1 2021 (compared to the previous quarter) by +12%. Acroud/ Net Gaming (+123%) and Catena Media (+53%) achieved best practice growth. Acroud is mainly focusing on the online gambling industry; Catena is also an iGaming affiliate. 

Scout Gaming and Bet-at-home have the lowest growth.
